First I would like to say that my compliments for food are reserved for extraordinary dishes. Today I was treated by Webo's Catering at my workplace for lunch. I found the food not only was delicious to the pallet but attractive to the eye. l savored every bite of the tender and tasteful chicken wings. The collards reminded my of Christmas dinner at my grandmothers of years gone bye. Other culinary treats served to us today were chicken and rice, and the best and I mean the best macaroni and cheese that I have ever had. Anyone that has the opportunity to taste and enjoy the food servings from Mr. Hardie AKA "Webo" Ballard III would thoroughly enjoy his delicacies.

Hands down the best “home cook’n’” food in Wilmington! The breading is perfect. Everything is well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Their prices are extremely reasonable….definitely bang for your buck! Well worth finding their location and ordering their food. You truly will NOT regret it! Time and time again, over and over, we will seek out and order from the Webo’s food truck. They are our favorite food truck! ❤️

Variety of delicious food items. I've tried several dishes, but their Fried Broccoli & Fried Shrimp are my absolute favorites. Mr. Ballard & staff are amazing. I look forward to booking their services for many future events.

I got the fried fish and coleslaw at an event that Sherwin-Williams sponsored. It was very delicious and it was exactly what fried fish is suppose to be. The portions were enough to keep me happy, which isn’t always the case. Well done Webo’s. Five stars for sure!

Today, for Soul Food Sunday , I stopped to see Webo's Catering Food Truck at 1851 Dawson St. to test out the new camera! FOOD: Today's feature is Webo's Fried Fish (Flounder) + Fried Shrimp Platter with Okra and Mac & Cheese. Everything was absolutely wonderful, but I really want to focus on Webo's breading and okra. The fish batter is crunchy, crispy and seasoned just right. The portion size is incredible and the fish, itself, was very hot and fresh. The okra? This is how fried okra should taste each and every time with that beautiful, light cornmeal breading! Beautiful! The Mac and Cheese was nice and creamy but needed some added pepper and light salt to season it to my preference. I was also hoping for some of that baked, thicker gooeyness throughout the mac (from a slight broiling on top during the cooking process) but it was a consistent creamy cheese. The mac wasn't bad at all, but not terrific. I would say it was good - very good. The okra and fish though? Those were seasoned, prepared and cooked properly!
